Context
ZAIXOS ships multiple products. ERP v1.0 was embedded in the Dental Clinic repository, causing governance drift, unclear ownership, and extraction blockers.
Decision
Create ZAIXOS Engineering Platform (ZEP) as a product-independent platform packaging methodology, runtime contracts, certified adapters, and validation. Products consume ZEP via pinned version — they do not embed authoritative copies long-term.
Consequences
Positive: Single engineering foundation, stable contracts, clear extraction path.
Negative: Dual-maintenance during migration, Composer lock learning curve.
